2nd Chance Dog Rescue opened March 26th 2011. Co
founders Tifini Mills and Jamie Hughes met while doing
what we love; spending time and working with homeless
dogs during their journey to find their forever home. While
volunteering at the Beverly Animal Shelter in Waterloo, NY,
we became friends through our love of dogs and helping
those in need. Together we saw a desperate need for more
facilities for the homeless dogs in Seneca County. After
much thought about the overwhelming amount of homeless
dogs, we realized there was something we could do about
it. Therefore 2nd Chance Dog Rescue was born. A rescue
devoted to great dogs that lose their homes through no fault
of their own.
SFR works closely with this great rescue in South Carolina!!!
Our director drives to SC once a month to take them several
dogs from our high kill shelters for adoption!! They have also
helped us with Breeder Shut downs and puppy Mill dogs.
All 4 Paws is an all volunteer animal rescue that has a holistic
approach that encompasses both the physical and emotional
needs of rescued animals. We strive to save as many lives
as possible while remaining a humane, no-kill Animal
Rescue. The vast majority of our animals were homeless.

Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League is a limited-admission
humane society and provides services to over 10,000 cats, dogs,
puppies and kittens each year. Operating continuously since 1925,
we have been positively impacting animal welfare and addressing
overpopulation in Palm Beach County through a variety of services.
Our Vision is to create a community where 100% of the adoptable
animals find loving homes and no animals will be euthanized
because of pet overpopulation.
What can we say about PnP! We love our PnP Pliot Jack who has
flown countless numbers of SFR dogs to homes and rescues in NY. His
steady plane Matilda has some fun stories to tell!!
Pilots N Paws was founded in 2008 by animal-lover Debi Boies and
pilot Jon Wehrenberg. The idea first took flight when Jon agreed to help
Debi by flying a rescued Doberman from Florida to South Carolina, to
save the dog’s life. The trip was a success and the two brainstormed on
how to rescue other animals. Spay/Neuter campaigns in parts of the
country were working, while in others parts, primarily in the south, pet
overpopulation was still a huge problem. There had to be a way to turn a
problem into a solution. Former pets were dying needlessly. They
